Cadence Point Home Series
Our home styles reflect Brevard’s architectural history, which was influenced by two important events: the arrival of Charlestonians in the late 1800’s and the area’s economic boom of the late 1930’s and 1940’s.
The Parkview, Grove, Laurel and Ashworth designs are inspired by home styles first brought to Transylvania County by individuals from the Lowcountry of South Carolina who found our mild summer climate a sharp contrast to the heat, humidity, and mosquitoes of Charleston.
The Maple, Dogwood and Franklin designs are inspired by the one-and-a-half and two-story Craftsman-style homes built in the heart of Brevard during the economic boom of the mid-20th century. They take their names from the streets of Brevard on which examples of these classically designed and built homes still stand.
The design of our Home Series puts a renewed emphasis on the front porch, which draws family members from the rear of the home to the front, promoting community with neighboring homes on the street.
Ultimately, the Cadence Point Home Series seeks to offer a modern lifestyle environment while recreating a sense of Brevard’s architectural history and the enduring charm of its downtown neighborhoods.
